Fajer Al Suri, also known as "Fajer Khalid," is a Moroccan Omani independent teenage artist who is self-taught in the Guitar, Ukulele, Piano, and the Drums. With such gifted talent, she writes, produces, and performs music in her home studio in the genre of Indie/Bedroom Pop. Fajer has been writing lyrics since the age of 12 and realized that she was capable of doing more than that.
As a novice musician, Fajer started off by posting musical covers on her channel, then gradually
started composing her own songs using Garageband on her iPhone. Two of Fajer's earliest songs are
"Stressed" (Released March 6, 2020) and "What Happened" (Released June 6, 2020), which she wrote
during the onset of the COVID-19 Pandemic. (More songs can be found on her YouTube channel
and Spotify)
About 1st Album Release:
"Bear." was Fajer's first and official EP release, which she independently wrote and produced. Fajer has been working on it since the end of 2020 until its release on June 1st, 2021. The EP captures her friendship, loyalty, memories, and past mistakes.
About 2nd Album Release:
Following the immediate release of her EP, Fajer began work on a new project titled "STAGE OF MADNESS," consisting of 10 tracks. The project took a little over two years to complete as she composed, recorded, and edited everything independently, and it officially went live on October 1st, 2023. The album describes her emotions during scenarios she's experienced as she progresses from stages of confusion to sadness to anger and madness, eventually finding some peace of mind.
